Perfect Life?

Caution: This entry may be slightly self-aborbed. Please read at your own risk!

I was chatting with one of my bestfriend the other day. We were talking about life...decisions in life and how all this while my friends seem to think that I have a perfect life.

That had me thinking. Do I have a perfect life? Is there such thing like a 'perfect life'?

It's subjective don't you think.....but at the moment I do feel that I have a 'perfect life'. I have a bit of everything a person could ever want in life. And I am very thankful for all that. I could not ask for more.

I have a family of my own.

Hubby my pillar of strength.

I have Haziq.....a miracle in my life

We may not live in huge house but we have a comfy house where we hide out and escape from the outside world

We may not drive a 5 series BMW (yet!) but we have a car that takes us everywhere we need to go...

Our bank account may not come up to a 6 figure amount (yet!) but we have enough money to buy us stuffs that we need...

My parents who are always there for me

My two brothers who are very sporting & loving towards their only sister hehe...

My bestfriends....Han, Olyn, Nik, Parv, Loady & Nolin (though I haven't seen Nolin for quite sometime now heheh)...you guys are the best...

My blogger friends with whom I share information and stuffs.....especially on motherhood... this is where I learn a lot about life...about being just an ordinary human being....about the ups and downs in marriage....everything...

I have a career and I love what I'm doing now.....I may not be earning a five figure salary (yet!) but I'm happy with what I have now. I may not travel round the world and explore (though deep inside I regret not doing all that before I settled down)....but I'm happy with what I've achieved so far and hope that I can achieve more in the future Insya Allah.

We (read:hubby & I) may have our ups & downs in our lives but that is part and parcel of life and that's what makes us stronger. It may not be bed of roses all the time but we have promised to each other......no matter what we will try our best to over come any obstacles, Insya Allah. Hubby & I, we're a team.

And....ooo yeah...to answer a question that I know some may ponder....No...I don't regret settling down and start a family. My only regret is that I was not brave and bold enough to go out and see the world back then. Although I know Hubby never stops me from achieving my career dreams (if not I won't be here today kan kan) but I've set my priorities.

So there you go....to 'you'...yeah 'you'....do what you think is best for yourself. Don't let others influence your decision. You know that whatever your decision or your next step will be....I will always support you. And...life is never easy dear. When you have an easy life, you'll tend to take people or things for granted. But when you strive and work hard in your life, you'll appreciate things more. :)

Something To Share

If you have nothing to do this Saturday, check out the KLUE Urbanscapes 2008 and watch out for Yuna and Kokokaina. Talented independent performers. Please....please go ok. And then let me know how it was....coz I soooooo wanna go huhuuu....

Visit here for more info.

Toodles peeps :)

If

this is the right decision to make....

then why am I feeling this way?
why am I not happy?
why is there a tad feeling of sad and uncertain?
why?

why do I wish I could take the opposite path?
selfish?
maybe....

But...I've already chose not to be selfish....
I'm suppose to be glad....
I am...
but I can't help but to have this slight unhappiness...
disappointed?
A bit maybe...

This sucks...

I know I've made the right decision but I don't feel good about it...

so should I

be happy or should I make the right decision but suppress this 'unhappiness' inside me?

Another This & That Of Me

Few weeks back the gang and I went to Oslo on Saturday. Oslo is about 2 hours drive from Sandefjord. The biggest city in Norway but 3 times smaller than K.L. In Norway shops close early. And on Sunday they close the whole day. In Oslo the shops close at 4p.m on Saturday, so we went there in the morning. Had our brunch at a Halal Kebab Restaurant. I have to tell you this...the kebab here can cost you round NOK 70-80. That's about RM46.20-RM79. How's that??? hahaha. Expensive don't you think. But since it's not that often we dine out, so we didn't mind. Parking in Norway is bloddy expensive too. One day parking cost us about NOK 200 = RM 132. Nasib baik we can claim from the company hehe.
Some of the guys are going back to Malaysia for a 2 weeks break, so they wanna buy some stuffs here in Oslo. As usual...I let the pictures do the talking ok :)

the rest of the gang.makan dulu...baru la jalan2.can you see how serious we were when we were negotiating the t-shirts price hehe

behind me is their parliment house.

artist at work.trolls are their famous myth stories.they live in the jungle the locals say...

The next Tuesday my housemate and I and another colleague went here after work.

A famous tourist spot during summer

can you see the jellyfish??somebody is trying to get us some fish for dinner hehe

can you see my shadow in the first picture.after awhile...still no fish caught,my housemate & I got bored and started being vain & took our own pictures haha

that used to be a lighthouse.not sure how it works though.and that is the walk back to the car.
Sekian, terima kasih.

Anak Sape Ni????

Hahaha...I can't help but laugh when I look at this picture. Yup...it's Haziq alright in his baju melayu worn on my bro's wedding (and yes I missed the wedding). This is the only picture where you can see his face quite clearly, the rest....hhhhmmm....Hubby said he just cannot sit still at all. When he sees Hubby trying to snap his picture he will either run away or run towards Hubby to grab the camera. My mom said Haziq was very helpful that day. When everyone was busy arranging the chairs, Haziq was busy too...rearranging them. Hahaha...
Sweetie pie...Ibu miss you soooo much. Four weeks plus to go okay. I think I've bought you a whole new wardrobe while I'm here hehe. Hope you can still fit them by the time I come back. Muaaahhhhsss....kiss...kiss..hug...hug... ;)

Realize?

Realize
Take time to realize,
That your warmth is.
Crashing down on in.
Take time to realize,That I am on your side
Didn't I, Didn't I tell you.
But I can't spell it out for you,
No it's never gonna be that simple
No I cant spell it out for you
If you just realize what I just realized,
Then we'd be perfect for each other
And will never find another
Just realized what I just realized
We'd never have to wonder if
We missed out on each other now
Take time to realize
Oh-oh I'm on your side
Didn't I, didn't I tell you.
Take time to realize
This all can pass you by..
Didn't I tell you
But I can't spell it out for you,
No its never gonna be that simple
No I can't spell it out for you.
If you just realized what I just realized
Then we'd be perfect for each other
And we'll never find another
Just realized what I just realized
We'd never have to wonder if
We missed out on each other but.
It's not always the same
No it's never the sameIf you don't feel it to.
If you meet me half way
If you would meet me half way.
It could be the same for you.
If you just realized what I just realized
Then we'd be perfect for each other
And we'll never find another
Just realized what I just realized
We'd never have to wonder
Just realized what I just realized
Oh
Missed out on each other now
Missed out on each other now
Realize
Realize
Realize

Weird/Random Facts Tag

3. Tag seven people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
4. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

7 weird/ random facts about me:

1) I hate waiting for people and I do not like people to wait for me. I always try my very best to be on time. Zai = punctual. Plus 5-10 minutes of waiting is acceptable, more than that with no good excuse or with lame excuse, you will get a grumpy/upset/pissed zai,ok?

2) I'm a right-handed person. Nothing weird about that? No? The weird part is I brush my teeth using my left hand. It turns out I was a left-hand when I was small, but mommy dearest feels that it will be weird for her daughter to be a left-handed so everytime I'm holding something using my left-hand, she will change it. I asked back what's so weird being a leffy, she said she was young back then haha. Fine with me. Then I told her she forgot about the brushing teeth part...she laughed...

3) I love to sketch. Back in uni days I used to sketch people's faces but I never showed it to anyone. Malu. Haven't been doing so for quite sometime. I also love to draw my-used-to-be fav-comic-character, Sahak, from Ujang magazine. I think he is a good looking character. Was in love with him.(until today Hubby tak percaya I can sketch a bit cheh) I did some drawing for my friends looooonnngggg time ago.

4) I hate to fold clothes but I love to hang washed clothes. I will arrange them according to colors (dark colors...then not-so-dark color lastly whites) and also sizes (from big to the smallest). But of late, folding Haziq's clothes(only!) gives me pleasure and it never failed to make me smile knowing that I'm a mommy now :)

5) I love Sidney Sheldon's novels. I have almost all of them. And I love re-reading them over and over again.

6) I can't wait be get preggie again....yup. You heard me. I miss holding that tiny creature in my arms. I miss the whole experience. I miss that look on Hubby's face the day we found out we're have a baby boy, I miss the fresh smell of babies (orang kate bau syurga kan) although Haziq's smell still put me on air. But on the other hand I'm not too keen with the confinement part...aarrggghh...sangat tak best hehe.

7) I dream to be a Domestic Goddess but I think I'm more of a UNDOMESTIC GODDESS at the moment haha. Hey....I'm working on it. Working on my cooking skills especially :p

7 people I'd like to tag:
eerrr....sape2 nak wat....please do okay... :)

This & That Of Me

It's definitely summer here in Norway when you see the temperature hiked up to 28C.That's the highest I've seen so far. The heater in house has been switched off permanently and we now enjoy more the car's air condition. The sun is very friendly to us now and a bit of cool breeze once in a while makes it a bliss. In the office, the attire has changed tremendously, the guys with their 3/4 pants and round neck t-shirt all day, the girls with colorful outfits and capri pants. It's just lovely.I love it. We're gonna have a teambuilding day next week with the rest of the project team member, on Friday, a department's dinner before the summer vacation for most of the locals here. There will be a BBQ soon. So...let's just say that I am really occupying my time here so that it will go faster. So far it's working alright. Thought I shared with you some of the photos that we took here....ok peeps???

Lovely isn't it

Few weeks back we were invited to a BBQ at one of the structural's department designer's place about 20 minutes from our office.

We played a traditional Norwegian summer game & that's me with some of the guys here. The house you see in the first picture is more than 200 years old. Cool eh.

My office

Our home. The second picture,it's actually the one on the right is our home, there's a swing on the porch you can't see them here. And when we want fresh air we'd go to the lake about 10 minutes walk from our place and feed the ducks.

So...that's about it for this entry. I'm super lazy to upload more pictures. I'm in the office on a Sunday afternoon hehe. Yes, believe it. We went to Oslo last weekend, I'll post more pictures from that trip later. :)

Wednesday, June 04, 2008

Haven't been updating this little space of mine lately eh. Guess I'm just not in the mood though I have lots to story mory you peeps. I want to share with you my life here in Sandefjord, Haziq's latest development, my latest crave and lots more but the mood to write is just not there. This morning when I got to the office the first thing I did after clearing my emails was to upload some pictures. Then I stumbled upon some pictures taken at the airport when I was waiting for my flight with the family. So decided to share them with you peeps.

Ini kire entry takde idea tapi nak gak ada entry hehe.

And this is Haziq playing under my sit-up chair (yang dah jadi gajah putih skang ni). He loves to hide under here. He will take some of his toys and play alone and sometimes he takes with him my kitchen utensils too. One day I found my electric kettle there. You see, our current rented apartment does not have built-in heaters in the bathrooms, so when I want to bathe him I will boiler water first. I usually tertinggal the empty kettle at the door of the bathroom. Mr Cheeky ni pun....ape lagi...grabbed it and brought it to his hide out place...sigh. I think you can see in the second picture behind Haziq the kettle. Haziq also loves to pretend he is riding a motorbike there. He will make sounds...vrrrrooommm....vvrrrooommmm...and start turning his hands left to right.

Hey....I did not expect to write this much....better go now. Lunch hour will be over soon and I need to start on the new assignment the Boss just gave before he left for Oslo.

Toodles peeps.

p/s: minyak petrol naik lagi ye I heard...shhheeessshhhh.
